Aces Netball Club is an inclusive, family‑focused community offering competitive and social netball opportunities for players of all ages and abilities, with training and games based at the Noranda Netball courts.
Our story
Aces Netball Club has been a proud part of the Noranda sporting community since its establishment in 1996. Over the years, the club has continued to grow in size, strength and spirit, while staying true to its roots. Our distinctive purple, black and white playing uniform represents more than just our colours—it symbolises the passion, teamwork and resilience that define every Aces team.
Based at the Noranda Netball courts, Aces runs weekly training sessions on Tuesday evenings and competes in the Noranda Netball Association (NNA) competition each Friday Night (NSG) and Saturday (Jnr/Snr) from April through to September. These regular training and game commitments form the foundation of our club culture, where consistency, effort and improvement are encouraged and celebrated.
Aces Netball Club caters to players across a broad range of age groups and skill levels, with teams from NetSetGo all the way through to Seniors. Whether someone is new to netball, returning to the sport, or striving for high‑level competition, Aces provides a supportive environment where every player has the opportunity to develop and thrive.
As a family‑oriented, community‑driven and inclusive club, we welcome girls and boys of all ages and abilities. We are also always looking for passionate volunteers—coaches, umpires, team managers and committee members—who help keep the club running and ensure each player’s experience is positive, safe and rewarding.
With a proud history and a bright future, Aces Netball Club continues to champion teamwork, friendship, personal growth and a lifelong love of netball. Whether you are looking to play, volunteer or support from the sidelines, you’ll find a welcoming community ready to cheer you on.

A thrilling encounter saw the Roos come from behind to secure a crucial 1 point victory. Down by 12 points at halftime, captain Jake Morrison sparked the comeback with a brilliant individual goal in the late in the 3rd quarter. Young gun winger Tommy Chen sealed the win with a spectacular off-the-ground finish in the dying minutes. The defensive effort from Mike Stevens and Danny Walsh was outstanding, making crucial tackles when it mattered most.
