About
About us
Aces Netball Club has been a cherished member of the Noranda sporting community since its inception in 1996. Throughout the years, the club has flourished in size, strength, and spirit while remaining faithful to its foundational values. Our distinctive purple, black, and white playing uniform signifies more than our colors—it embodies the passion, teamwork, and resilience that characterize every Aces squad.
Located at the Noranda Netball courts, Aces conducts weekly training sessions every Tuesday evening and competes in the Noranda Netball Association (NNA) competition on Friday nights (NSG) and Saturdays (Jnr/Snr) from April to September. These consistent training and game routines form the cornerstone of our club culture, where dedication, effort, and improvement are not only encouraged but celebrated.
Aces Netball Club caters to players of all ages and skill levels, with teams ranging from NetSetGo to A1 Senior. Whether individuals are newcomers to the sport, returning players, or aiming for high-level competition, Aces offers a nurturing environment where every athlete can grow and flourish.
As a family-oriented, community-focused, and inclusive club, we warmly welcome girls and boys of all ages and abilities. We are also constantly seeking enthusiastic volunteers—coaches, umpires, team managers, and committee members—who play a vital role in keeping the club thriving and ensuring every player's experience is positive, safe, and fulfilling.
With a proud legacy and an optimistic outlook, Aces Netball Club continues to promote teamwork, friendship, personal development, and a lifelong passion for netball. Whether you wish to play, volunteer, or cheer from the sidelines, you’ll discover a welcoming community eager to support you.
